Michelle Allen is Admin Support for the Community of Caring Foundation / Aspen Mine Center in Cripple Creek, CO. She’s one part Girl Friday, one part Gatekeeper to the Executive Director, one part bookkeeper and one part wannabe IT geek. She has 20+ years experience in office management and customer service, so, needless to say, she’s heard it all and has the t-shirt to prove it! After 15 years working for a multi-million-dollar corporation, Michelle decided it was time to find personal fulfillment by giving back to her community.

She began volunteering at the Community of Caring Foundation/Aspen Mine Center and was deeply moved by the commitment of the staff along with the programs and services offered to lift up those in need in the community. In 2017, the opportunity arose for her to join the foundation and she has been expanding her knowledge of nonprofits and fundraising ever since. Michelle is passionate about learning new things and outside of work can often be found diving headfirst into a hitherto unexplored YouTube “rabbithole.”
