A Whoville Christmas in the Gold Camps

November 11December 14, 2023

Experience the lights in the Gold Camp by taking a drive (with your favorite Christmas tunes playing) on a self-guided tour through our area as our mine headframes are decorated with large Christmas light displays. Wednesday Community Lunch

Yes, there is such a thing as a free lunch.

Each Wednesday, the Aspen Mine Center, in partnership with local churches, clubs, agencies and community volunteers, provides a community luncheon (for optional donation) that welcomes all community members. For many, this is the only nutritious meal they have all week. This program “builds a healthy community” by enhancing neighborhood attachment, prosocial engagement, connecting clients to local resources, promoting intergenerational and cross-economic
interaction and acceptance.

A comfortable dining room to enjoy a meal with old friends
and make new ones

A hot, healthy lunch complete with everything from salad through dessert,
including hot and cold beverages

Great food, terrific opportunities for socializing,
a fun and relaxing time for all!
