Job Assistance at the Aspen Mine Center in Cripple Creek, Colorado

Over the past 16 years, Community of Caring has had a dynamic partnership with the Pikes Peak Workforce Center (PPWFC).  This program has been the lifeboat for local employees.  Our employment assistance specialists have helped employees navigate the unemployment system, provided resume writing skills, mentoring, submittal of applications for employment, and listened with great compassion.

For job seekers, PPWFC will provide:

  • Résumé writing skills
  • Mentoring in enhancing computer skills and guidance in conducting a job interview to increase chances of hiring
  • Submittal of applications for employment
  • A comprehensive list of available jobs locally and within Teller County…and we promise to listen with great compassion

Special help for young adults 16-24 years of age to attain further education and career goals, paid internships, supportive services, and much more through WIOA (WorkForce Opportunities Act)
