Services for Seniors in Cripple Creek, Colorado

Community of Caring has provided a Senior Advocate Case Manager since 2010. Through the PPACG Area Agency on Aging (AAA) we receive funding to provide case management to assess needs, develop action plans, arrange services, coordinate the provision of services among providers, and follow-up and reassessment as required with the purpose of assisting older adults to remain as independent as possible in their own homes while maximizing their quality of life.

Help for Seniors…

As we age, new challenges and concerns arise. In many ways, our Senior Case Management program provides the key to a fuller, more comfortable life for our senior citizens.

  • Assisting older adults to remain independent in their own homes while maximizing their quality of life
  • Assessing needs
  • Developing care plans
  • Arranging for needed services
  • Coordinating provision of services among providers
  • Follow-up and reassessment whenever required
  • Assistance with Federal and State tax forms
  • Medicare eligibility, issues and problem solving
  • Additional help for seniors is provided by this and other Community of Caring programs. Free hot lunches on Wednesdays, winter firewood, legal assistance and emergency funds are just a few examples.
  • In 2018, we served over 500 clients
