Arden’s Pay-It-Forward Boutique

New Process

  • Clients will begin with checking in at the front desk.
    • Information will be recorded by Receptionist to include, Date, and Name for record keeping purposes.
  • The client then will be given a turquoise ticket for 7 items, and shown were the closet is. (The closet will remain open to everyone and is now also an extension of the Gift Shop).
  • Each Person needing access will be given a ticket. (Example- Mom, dad and kiddo will receive 3 tickets). This enables each person in the family to get the items they need!
  • Clothing will have tags on them to show that they are from the closet.
  • The closet items will also be for sale for $1.00
  • Once they have picked out their 7 items, they will proceed to check out through the gift shop and hand the tickets to the Gift shop. The Volunteers will verify that all items came out of the closet!
  • If someone has more than 7 items they will be charged $1.00 plus tax per item.
  • There is a limit of 2 visits per week totaling 14 items.
  • If clients need more clothing, then a referral will be sent to a case manager to see if they need to sign up for the Loads of Love Program, ect.
  • If a client is showing great progress in becoming self-sufficient, Client Services may reach out to their director and give the client a Way to Go Certificate to be used at the gift shop for any item they may want or need. (Director will decide on amount given to client based on success, family size, needs etc.).
