Angie Trelstad has been the Director of Client Services at the Aspen Mine Center / Community of Caring since January 2016. In addition to addressing clients’ immediate needs such as food, clothing assistance and utility help, Angie is passionate about managing the Pikes Peak United Way Financial Health Program, designed to extend a “Hand Up” and help clients achieve financial sustainability.

Angie grew up in Green Mountain Falls, CO. Her mother played the piano at the Palace and Imperial Hotels’ for 17 years, so she spent her summers in Cripple Creek. She started waitressing at Mo’s Knotty Pine in Bust, CO, at the age of 14. By the age of thirty, she owned two restaurants. She served as Chief Operating Officer of a multimillion-dollar International Cosmetics Company managing production and worldwide distribution of top selling products for HSN and QVC. She worked in the development and launch of private label products for several companies including L’Oréal and Estee Lauder; her entrepreneurial spirit is further reflected in her diverse career background including the creation and patent of a proprietary product that sold on HSN & QVC. Angie is also a published author and Personal Protection and SWAT tactics Instructor. After selling her company, Angie directed her talents toward the non-profit world starting as the Senior Citizen Advocate at the Aspen Mine Center in 2011. With her passion for empowering victims, she served as Victim Advocate with TESSA for two years before returning to the Aspen Mine Center as the Director of Client Services.

Angie is certified in Mental Health First Aid, Ending Violence against Women’s Sexual Assault Investigation, Building and Enhancing Rural Coordinated Criminal Justice Responses to Battering, a Master Trainer in Adverse Childhood Experience Study and Trauma, and a Certified Financial Education Instructor (NFEC).

Angie enjoys marital bliss with her knight in shining armor of almost 30 years, Brad. She loves God the outdoors, music, her children and her dogs.
